Fireflies

Last night during a walk thru in the park (@work) I met a couple of youngsters in the park (sounds creepy) I asked them, “what are u doing?” And they replied “CATCHING FIREFLIES!”

Instead of walking away I helped my young friends catch some fireflies. Brought me back to my youth, spending hours catching these little critters..

Sometimes we need youth to bring us back to a certain place/remind us, life doesn’t have to be all business/responsibilities/competition/chaos etc. For the short moment all I wanted to do was be a kid… Just don’t tell my boss I’m having fun@work

5.12.2011 afternoon in nyc

what a beautiful day to be in the city.  70’s, sunny, light breeze just perfect.  walking along the hi-line with my babe looking at different flowers and buildings.  sitting in random spots, soaking in the city oasis one blink at a time.  dinner and dessert at random spots, yum.   my favorite part of the day the subway ride back.  When you rested your head on my shoulder, i knew i felt important sorta like doing my part as your man, your protector.  LG- life is GOOD.
